Emoji Autocomplete is built to be private by default. This page explains exactly what the extension does and does not do with your data.

What we don't collect

What stays in your browser

Your preferences and usage are stored locally via the browser's extension storage (and synced across your own signed-in browsers by the browser itself):

What we send, and only when needed

If you activate a Premium license, the extension contacts our payment provider, LemonSqueezy, over HTTPS to validate it. The only information sent is your license key and a randomly generated device identifier used to manage your activation. No other data is transmitted.

Permissions

The extension requests the minimum permissions needed to work: access to the pages you type on (to offer autocomplete) and storage (to save your preferences). It does not request access it doesn't use.
